Divine Mercy Novena

This novena can be prayed at any time but Jesus especially asked St Maria Faustina Kowalska to start it on Good Friday in the lead up to Divine Mercy Sunday. Each day includes a specific intention and the Divine Mercy chaplet. The music here is sung by the Holy Redeemer Choir.

This Totus2us novena contains all of Blessed John Paul II's apostolic exhortation Redemptoris Custos on 'the person and mission of Saint Joseph in the life of Christ and of the Church', which JPII gave to the Church on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 15 August 1989. Novena to the Holy Spirit

The original novena (9 days of prayer) was when the Apostles, together with Mary, prayed together in the Upper Room after the ascension of Jesus, before the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The prayers for this Totus2us novena are the same each day, while the quotes are all from Blessed John Paul II's encyclical on the Holy Spirit, Dominum et Vivificantem. Veni Sancte Spiritus is sung by the Poor Clare Sisters at Ty Mam Duw.

This Totus2us novena contains the whole of Blessed John Paul II's encyclical Ecclesia de Eucharistia on the Eucharist in its relationship to the Church, which JPII gave to the bishops, priests & deacons, men & women in consecrated life and all the lay faithful on Holy Thursday 2003, the Year of the Rosary. The music is from 'Triduum - Contemporary Sacred Music' by David Bevan & Neil Wright, and sung by the Holy Redeemer Choir. Each day of the novena ends with the prayer by St Thomas Aquinas from the end of the encyclical.
